1. The site is very slow on phones
Critical- What's wrong
- The main photo takes about 9 seconds to appear on a phone, because the photos are full-size camera files.
- Why it matters
- Most people leave a page that takes more than 3 seconds to load. Google also ranks slow sites lower.
- The fix
- Resize the photos to the size they are shown and save them as WebP. The page would load in about a third of the time.

Is the website audit really free?
Yes. There is no cost and no obligation. We do it because some people who read their report ask us to help fix it, and that is how we find new clients.
How long does it take?
A real person reviews your website and emails you a PDF report within 1 business day (Monday to Friday).
What do you check?
Five areas: first impression, how it works on phones, speed, how easy it is to find on Google, and how easy it is for visitors to call or send an enquiry. We test your site with Google PageSpeed on a phone and a computer, check every page Google can find, and look at it the way a customer would.
What's in the report?
A score out of 100, a score for each of the five areas, what's already working, and your critical and high-priority issues. Each issue shows what's wrong, why it matters and how to fix it. You also get screenshots with notes, quick wins for this week, and a comparison with two competitors in your area.
Can I fix the issues myself?
Yes. Every fix is written so you or your developer can do it. If you'd rather we fix it, we'll give you a fixed quote on a free call, for only the work you choose.
What happens after the fixes?
If we make the changes for you, we check your site again and send a progress report showing your scores before and after, issue by issue.
Will you spam me?
No. We email you the report and may follow up once or twice about it. We only send tips and offers if you tick the marketing box.
